Regulations for the use of the leisure centre (FZA) Rheinweise / Camping Schaffhausen, Langwiesen

The Feuerthalen Municipal Council issues the following regulations based on Art. 3 Para. 4 of the Ordinance on the Organisation and Operation of the Rheinwiese Leisure Facility of 1 December 2014:

ARTICLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS
The purpose of these regulations is to facilitate camping and leisure activities, to ensure hygiene and cleanliness and to maintain general peace and order. Furthermore, these regulations form an integral part of the annual rental agreement.
The Rheinwiese leisure centre (FZA) is under the control of the municipality of Feuerthalen and is managed on a leasehold basis by the management. The Feuerthalen municipal council decides on disputes between the management and the campsite users.
The management is responsible for maintaining peace and order and collects taxes and fees. It is therefore in the interest of each individual guest to strictly adhere to the following regulations and to comply with the instructions of the management and its employees.
The management is responsible for the condition of the area and the corresponding facilities as well as for compliance with the regulations. The instructions of the management and its assistants and supervisory bodies must be strictly followed.
These regulations for the use of the Rheinweise / Camping Schaffhausen leisure centre (FZA) apply to all persons staying on the site. Special provisions also apply to seasonal campers, which are set out in the "Annex" to these regulations.
These regulations become binding for campers upon enrolment.

ARTICLE 2: USE (ACCESS)
The sunbathing lawn at the leisure centre is generally open from mid-May to mid-September from 09:00 to 20:00. In unfavourable weather conditions, the management may set reduced opening times.
The duration of the camping season is determined annually by the municipal council.
Persons without legal residence are not permitted on the grounds of the Rheinwiese leisure centre.
Children of pre-school age are only admitted when accompanied by an adult responsible for them. Police regulations and legal requirements of the municipality of Feuerthalen must be strictly adhered to.
Class visits by schoolchildren must be accompanied by a teacher who is responsible for ensuring orderly operation and supervising the pupils.
Guests of long-term campers who are not listed as tenants in the annual rental agreement must register with the management at reception on arrival and pay the appropriate fee, depending on whether they are staying overnight or are only visiting during the day. This also applies if the main tenant is not present.
Between 10.00 pm and 7.00 am, the campsite entrance remains closed for camping operations. Arrivals and departures during these times are only permitted after consultation with the site management or in the event of a medical emergency.

ARTICLE 3: FEES
The use of the FZA Rheinwiese is subject to a fee, both for lido visitors and for campsite visitors. The fees for the individual categories are shown in the price list displayed on the campsite. The management may require a deposit to secure the payment of the fees.

ARTICLE 4: COMMUNICATIONS
Notices from the municipality of Feuerthalen or the management will be posted on the official notice board at the Rheinwiese leisure centre.
The telephone numbers of the management, ambulance, police and fire brigade are displayed on the notice board.

ARTICLE 5: AVAILABLE SPACE
Only one accommodation unit may be set up per plot (tent, mobile home or caravan with awning/porch). Fencing of any kind is not permitted.
The car must be parked in the car park. Otherwise the car must be parked in the outside car park.
Clotheslines, external aerials and the like as well as additional fixed installations must be authorised by the management.
The wheels and drawbar of the stationary caravans may not be removed.
Caravan extensions and roof structures must be authorised by the management.
Caravans with a maximum width of 2.50 m and a maximum length of 8.50 m including drawbar are generally permitted on the site (see appendix).
Construction site and circus wagons may not be set up.
Changes to the ground conditions are not permitted. The planting, removal and trimming of shrubs and trees is not permitted. Basements are prohibited.
The plot must be kept in a well-kept condition. The lawn must be mowed and weeds removed at the latest when leaving the plot. (Max. lawn height 10-14 cm).

ARTICLE 6: HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS
The entire area of the FZA Rheinwiese, in particular the sanitary facilities, must be kept in a clean condition.
Waste of all kinds may only be disposed of in the designated containers. The provisions of the waste regulations of the municipality of Feuerthalen must be complied with. Bulky waste must be disposed of elsewhere or at the landfill designated for bulky waste.
It is prohibited to allow waste water to seep into the ground. Containers must be placed under the drainage of caravans. To prevent water pollution, it is also forbidden to dig drainage pits. Waste water and the contents of portable chemical toilets must be emptied into the drains provided for this purpose.
Materials and objects of all kinds must be stored in the accommodation unit and in the material box.
The washing and cleaning of motorised vehicles is not permitted.

ARTICLE 7: DAMAGES/LIABILITY
Users are liable for all damage caused intentionally or through negligence.
Neither the municipality of Feuerthalen nor the operators of the FZA Rheinwiese or the owners of the surrounding forest and meadow parcels are liable for any loss or damage that the site users may suffer. It is the sole responsibility of the users to protect themselves, their family members and their visitors, as well as their personal belongings, investments and/or vehicles against events of any kind and, if necessary, to insure them.
Swimming and bathing is at your own risk. No liability is accepted.
Lost property can be handed in and collected at the ticket office. After the swimming season, valuables can be collected from the lost property office of the Feuerthalen municipal administration until the end of the year.

ARTICLE 10: CALM AND DISCIPLINE
Loud listening to sound reproduction devices, loudspeakers, amplifiers, TVs and the like is not permitted.
Harassment of any kind of bathers, campers or guests is prohibited.
If there are large numbers of visitors on the sunbathing lawn, ball games are only permitted in the designated areas.
Campers are instructed to avoid any noise that could disturb their neighbours. Radios, televisions and the like must be set so that they do not cause a disturbance outside the awning and the accommodation unit. Car and luggage compartment doors must be closed quietly.
The quiet hours from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am must be observed. In addition, the cantonal legal requirements and the provisions of the currently valid police regulations of the municipality of Feuerthalen must be complied with.
In exceptional cases, the management may postpone the start of the night-time rest period.
The management has the right to remove persons whose behaviour causes offence.

ARTICLE 11: VEHICLE TRAFFIC

The instructions of the management must be followed when using the parking area (see also rental agreement and "Regulations for the winter storage of caravans/campers and weidlings")
Any ground construction may be left on the plot within the grounds of the Rheinweise/Camping Schaffhausen leisure centre after consultation with the management. However, this must be covered/wrapped with a (green or grey) plastic tarpaulin.

General terms and conditions of the regulations for the use of the Schaffhausen campsite

CARAVAN CATEGORIES (LENGTHS) AND THEIR APPROVALS
There are basically two categories. The number of installations per authorised category per campsite is determined by the municipality of Feuerthalen.

SPACE INSTALLATIONS
The following site installations are permitted without special authorisation:

  • Caravans with an overall length over drawbar of 8.50 metres and a body width of 2.50 metres. The prerequisite is that the size of the plot in question permits this and the neighbours are not unreasonably restricted as a result.
  • Awnings that do not exceed the length of the caravan without drawbar. Maximum depth 2.80m excl. eaves. Bay windows or other extensions are not permitted.
  • Floor panels are permitted inside the awning or under the porch. A maximum of 4 additional square slabs (max. 1m2) are permitted in front of the entrance to the awning or porch. Footpath floor slabs as access to the unit are permitted in a single row.
  • If the awning is missing or if the awning or the front structure is smaller than 2.80 metres, the panels are permitted in the length of the caravan including the drawbar with a maximum depth of 2.80 metres.
  • Additional tents, privacy screens and pavilions are generally permitted at no extra charge, but must be dismantled and removed from the pitch without being asked when you are absent. The same rule applies to camping utensils, garden gnomes and leisure and sports equipment.
  • The installation of a material crate is permitted. The crate may be made of aluminium, wood or plastic. Binding maximum external dimensions:
    • Length: Width of the caravan
    • Depth: 0.85m
    • Height: 0.90m
  • The placement of flower containers is permitted. Neighbours must not feel disturbed and safety must be guaranteed.
  • Parabolic mirrors and television aerials with a maximum diameter of 0.60m can be mounted on the roof of the installation up to a height of 1m above the roof edge of the caravan.

Authorisation may be granted upon written request:

  • Motorhomes (campers):
Vehicle dimensions corresponding to the caravan dimensions. The motorhome must be registered. Environmental protection requirements must be met.
  • Freestanding awnings:
These, including the eaves, must not protrude beyond the contours of the caravan at any point. In this context, the caravan must not be lifted off the ground and placed underneath. The maximum depth, including eaves, is 2.80 metres. This also applies to mobile homes.
  • Caravan front end:
It must not protrude beyond the contours of the caravan at any point. In this context, the caravan must not be lifted off the ground and placed underneath.
Max. External dimensions: length 5.00m, depth 2.80m
  • Protective roof:
It is not permitted to install a protective roof over the caravan or caravan incl. awning.
  • Building adjustments to the plot are subject to authorisation.
  • Intermediate floors are subject to authorisation.
  • Flagpoles are subject to authorisation.

All the above-mentioned applications must be accompanied by a scaled sketch or a corresponding factory brochure from which all important data can be taken.

Not permitted:

  • Drawbar:
The drawbar of the caravan must not be dismantled.

WASTE DISPOSAL
Normal household rubbish must be deposited in official, tied rubbish bags labelled with fee stamps in the waste containers provided. The waste regulations of the municipality of Feuerthalen must be strictly adhered to.
Waste glass can be disposed of in the designated waste glass containers on the FZA site or taken home. Under no circumstances may used glass be disposed of with household rubbish or deposited next to the rubbish containers.
Disused camping furniture, inflatable boats, parasols and equipment etc. must be disposed of by the tenant.

ADDITIONAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING
Additional electric lighting outside caravans and awnings is not permitted.

ENTRANCE AREA OF THE PLOTS
Depending on the ground conditions of the campsite, the management may authorise wooden grates or concrete slabs in the entrance area of the pitches (max. 1m2). The laying of other surfaces is prohibited (e.g. grass carpet or similar).

SAFETY OF GAS/ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
To protect your safety and that of your neighbours, the following inspection of your installation is mandatory by the end of May at the latest in accordance with your rental agreement:

Gas appliances and installations in general:

  • The generally applicable regulations must be observed for gas installations.
  • Personal modifications to the installations are prohibited.
  • The installations must be inspected periodically every 3 years by a gas specialist (FVF member).

This inspection must be carried out at the tenant's own responsibility. The costs are to be borne by the tenants themselves and paid directly to the inspector carrying out the inspection.

INSPECTIONS/ENTRY TO THE RENTAL PARCELS
Inspections may be carried out at any time. The right to enter the rental plots is vested in The management of FZA Rheinwiese.

EXCEPTIONS
Exceptions to these regulations can only be authorised in writing by the Feuerthalen municipal council or the management.
